Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s Political career Timeline


Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi was born on June 22, 1956 in Murry in Pakistan
He Completed M.A Degree in 1983 from Cambridge University 
Qureshi's father Makhdoom Sajjad Hussain was former governor Punjab
Qureshi's Family was affiliated with PML in start. He Was elected as MPA in Punjab 1985 to 1988 then 1988 to 1990 and then 1990 to 1993. He was also elected MNA from 1993 to1996 in district Multan 
He Also served as Punjab finance Minister from 1990 to 1993 and In 1993 he join Pakistan People Party(PPP) and served as minister of state for parliamentary affairs from 1994 to 1996 
Qureshi also Won National Assembly seat in general election in 2008 after this he resigned as foreign Minister in 2011 also resigned from PPP National Assembly membership on Nov, 2011 and join Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf
